Kajino Juwari Soba is a premium Japanese noodle distinguished by being made entirely from 100% pure buckwheat flour, without any added wheat flour. This composition results in a noodle with an intensely rich, earthy, and nutty flavour and a satisfyingly grainy, slightly rough texture. The high buckwheat content provides an authentic taste experience cherished by soba enthusiasts.

Distinctive Texture and Aroma

These noodles offer a delicate yet firm bite when prepared correctly, allowing them to remain toothsome while soaking up the flavour of broths and dipping sauces. The distinct, appealing aroma of pure buckwheat is released upon cooking, enhancing the entire meal. Due to the lack of gluten from wheat, they require careful handling during the cooking process but deliver an unparalleled, wholesome flavour profile.

How to Enjoy

Boil the noodles according to package directions, then immediately rinse them thoroughly under cold water to stop cooking and preserve their texture. These noodles are traditionally served cold as Zaru Soba with a chilled tsuyu (dipping sauce), wasabi, and sliced scallions.
