How to cook delicious rice in a pot

Ingredients

  • For approximately 150g of rice, use 200ml of water.
  • For approximately 300g of rice, use 450ml of water.
  • For approximately 450g of rice, use 650ml of water.

Instructions

  • To heat the core of the rice grain, soak it in water before cooking.
  • As preparation, wash the rice, drain it, put it in a pot, and soak it in water for more than 30 minutes. An indicator for the soaking time is 30 minutes in summer and 1 hour in winter.
  • Cover the pot and cook over medium heat.
  • Cook over medium heat for 3 minutes, then reduce the heat to low for 7 to 10 minutes. Alternatively, adjust the heat so that it does not boil over.
  • When moisture and bubbles escape, heat it for 1 to 2 minutes, and check it until the moisture is gone.
  • Turn off the heat and allow it to steam for 10 minutes with the lid closed. Done.
