Wel-Pac Fueru WAKAME, dried wakame seaweed has a mild slightly sweet taste from sea. Wakame setang is very commonly used in Asian cuisine, especially Japanese cuisine and it is an umami and savory flavor source. Wakame is very rich in fiber and is used in many Japanese dishes for soups, salads, meat and vegetable dishes. Preparation: cover 1.2g (about 1.5 tsp) Wel Pac Wakame with cold water for 4-6 minutes, then drain well. Use for soups and salads. Warnings This product is naturally high in iodine. A daily iodine intake of up to 0.2 mg is healthful and desirable for an average adult. Larger amounts may be harmful to health (e.g. for persons with chronic iodine deficiency). Therefore, take a maximum of 1g (approx. one heaped teaspoon) of the product per day.
