This is how simple Japanese cuisine is Tim Anderson is the author and owner of the Japanese soul food restaurant Nanban in London. In 2011, he impressed the judges of the British series MasterChef with his Japanese-inspired dishes and won the season. His love for this cuisine was sparked in his teens when he watched the Japanese cooking show Iron Chef. He learned the necessary knowledge and craft in Los Angeles and then in Tokyo. He currently lives in Lewisham with his wife Laura and cat Baloo.
