Shin Ramyun Flavor, Stir-Fried Style

The Nongshim Shin Ramyun Stir Fry offers the popular savory taste of Shin Ramyun in a convenient, broth-less format. These thick, resilient noodles are cooked and then tossed with a rich, dark sauce that delivers a perfect balance of sweetness, savoriness, and warmth. At 131g, this single-serving pack provides a substantial and deeply flavored meal that is ready in minutes, making it an excellent choice for a quick lunch or dinner.

Rich Sauce and Quality Noodles

This stir-fry ramen is designed for maximal flavor absorption. The noodles are firm and chewy, providing a satisfying base for the concentrated, umami-rich seasoning sauce. The pack includes vegetable flakes for added texture, such as sliced mushrooms and bok choy, which complement the sauce's robust profile. It offers the distinctive Shin Ramyun flavor without the soup, emphasizing the seasoning and noodle texture.

How to Enjoy

Bring 600ml of water to a boil. Add the noodles and vegetable flakes and cook for 2 minutes. Drain the water, leaving about 3-4 tablespoons (40ml) in the pot. Add the seasoning sauce and stir-fry the noodles over low heat for 1 to 2 minutes until the sauce is well distributed. For extra flavor and freshness, toss in freshly chopped spring onions or a fried egg just before serving.

Frequently asked questions

The noodles should be boiled in 600ml of water for 2 minutes before the water is drained.

Retain about 3 to 4 tablespoons (approximately 30ml) of the boiling water to mix with the sauce powder and oil for a creamy consistency.

To reduce the spiciness, only use about two-thirds of the included sauce powder packet, and consider adding a tablespoon of dairy, such as milk or sour cream, during the final mixing.

The noodles in the stir fry variant are generally slightly thicker and chewier, a texture optimized for coating sauce rather than broth absorption, compared to the standard Shin Ramen noodles.

Yes, traditional toppings like boiled eggs or tteok work well; however, ensure tteok are cooked fully during the initial boil since minimal liquid is used for the final stir-fry stage.
