Compatible with various cooktops

It can be used not only on direct fire, but also with induction heater, halogen heater, microwave, and oven. Even in warm seasons, if you use it on an induction cooktop, the room will not get heated up and you can enjoy pot dishes comfortably. The high-quality heating element on the bottom surface makes it compatible with induction cooktops. It can conduct heat without completely touching the surface and minimizes friction damage.

By adding water to the pot and inserting the attached steam plate, you can enclose the rich taste and nutrients of ingredients without using oil.The plate is deep enough to place many ingredients and the holes allow excess moisture and oils to filter out. The shape of the hole on the rim is designed so that you can hook your finger to remove the plate easily.

Water absorption rate indicates the degree of water that seeps into the pot. As KAKOMI has a very low water absorption rate, it is easy to maintain clean and prevents odors from remaining. You can cook a pot-dish full of spices one day and make something completely different the next day.

Function of the multi-layered structure

The heating element, which allows the pot to be used on an induction cooktop, features a multi-layered structure. Glass-like glaze is sprayed evenly on the heat resistant ceramic. It is then coated with three layers of silver film and glass coating. The glass coating protects the heating element to prevent uneven heating and abnormal over-heating.

How to take care of earthenware pots before the first use

This product is not suitable for All-metals induction heaters. May not work on "Si" sensor-equipped gas cooking stoves. The time it takes to boil may vary depending on the type of induction heater. Adjust heat to medium or lower when using on 200V induction heater.

This product rarely absorbs water, it doesn’t need to be season for the first time. When using it for the first time, please gently wash it with neutral detergent. The handle and lid will be hot when heated. Use mittens to hold.
Do not touch or place directly on the table after using on induction heater as the heating element on the bottom surface of the pot will be very hot. Hold the pot with both hands when carrying as the ceramic pot is heavy. Do not touch with a wet cloth or put in a wet place while it is hot as rapid cooling may cause breakage. Do not put too much water. It might cause boiling over and injuries. If content boils over, wipe and clean the bottom surface of the pot thoroughly as the heating element may break if used unclean.

Mix well and prevent food contents from burning on the bottom of the pot as the heating element may break if burning recurs. If the pot becomes burnt, boil water in the pot, add 1 tablespoon of baking soda and simmer in low heat for 2-3 minutes, let it cool down and rub with a melamine sponge.
